BORNEO TRIP UPDATE
Team Bedlington have just completed their first camp in Borneo at Camp Rang Bulan on the beach. Students have had an amazing time, getting stuck into project work such as building a well, repairing a kindergarten floor and fixing a walkway to houses. We also carried out a marine conservation day and helped with a beach clean up!
They have also enjoyed free time on the beach, with camp fires and a karaoke night for our last night in camp. Students were shown traditional dances and then joined in before treating the locals to the YMCA and the Macarena!
The team are now heading for Mount Kinabalu and then on into the jungle where we are hoping to see orangutangs and pigmy elephants!
