Bedlington Academy's volleyball team were proud to represent the Blyth/Bedlington area at the Northumberland Games on Thursday 28 June at Cramlington Learning Village.
The students participating had not previously played volleyball outside of their PE lessons and had a limited amount of practice time due to space availability and weather conditions.
But, even with the odds against them, both teams played wonderfully. They had some great rallies and made fantastic plays, finishing in 5th place.
